"Good stuff, just a little pricey"
I tried the products and they do work well, like I said, no real complaints there. I just feel like they’re a bit expensive for what you actually get. Like I said, they’re not bad at all, just not the best value in my opinion.

"Shipping is taking way too long"

"I thought the site looked nice and..."
I thought the site looked nice and was easy enough for me to use, but it felt a bit plain. There’s nothing bad-looking about it, I just personally wanted something a little more interesting or memorable.

"Support is dragging its feet"
I’m still sitting here waiting for help, it’s getting ridiculous. Support is moving like a bunch of clueless slackers, and nobody seems to know what they’re doing.

"Matter setup was hit or miss for me"
I was hoping the Matter support would make setup simple, but in my case it was still flaky. Maybe it works better depending on your router, hub, or overall smart home setup, but with mine it took multiple tries and didn’t feel as reliable as I expected.

"Kind of a pain to use"
The app feels messy and slow. Took way too long to find basic settings, and sometimes doesn’t even show the device status correctly. Expected it to be simple, but ended up being more annoying than helpful. Had to restart it a couple times just to change one setting. Not a great experience.

"Solid connection from day one"
I set up my Eve devices a few weeks ago, and they’ve been pretty much rock solid since then. With some of the other smart home stuff I’ve used in the past, I’d get random dropouts every few days, but I haven’t had to mess with these at all. Setup only took a few minutes, and since then they’ve just worked in the background, which is exactly what I wanted.

"Finally, smart home gear that doesn’t feel creepy"
I picked up a few Eve sensors because I was over every smart home gadget wanting an account, an app, and who-knows-what cloud access 😅 This setup felt way more straightforward and not nosy at all.

No weird sign-ups, no feeling like my data is being shipped off somewhere mysterious, and it connected with my Home setup without drama. I really like that so much of it stays local and just works quietly in the background.

It’s probably not the cheapest option out there, but privacy was the big thing for me. So far I’m super happy with it, and it just feels better having this kind of stuff in my house 👍

"Expected an Easy Return, Got a Hassle Instead"
I thought returning it or using the warranty would be straightforward, but that wasn’t the case at all. The return was denied, and when I tried going through the warranty, it didn’t really help either. Frustrating, especially since I expected better support.

"Sensors don’t feel as accurate as advertised"
I was expecting better for the price, especially since the website makes it sound reliable. In actual use, the sensor readings seem to jump around more than they should, which is confusing because it’s not really matching what I thought I was buying. It works, but I don’t fully trust the numbers sometimes.

"Works, but can be a little flaky"
I do like the idea of Eve, and the app itself is simple to figure out. Setup wasn’t bad either, just kind of... normal. But the automations have been a little inconsistent for me. Sometimes my lights and plugs respond right away, and other times there’s a delay, or nothing happens until I open the app, which kind of defeats the purpose. For what it costs, I was hoping it would feel more dependable. It’s not terrible, just... not quite as smooth as I expected

"Pretty solid overall"
I’ve gotta say, it feels sturdy overall… not cheap or flimsy. The parts fit together well, and it actually looks nice in the house. There was one small piece that felt a little plasticky, but honestly… I’m still happy with it

"I bought this from evehome.com thinking it..."
I bought this from evehome.com thinking it would be a solid upgrade, but the battery life has been really disappointing. It was supposed to last a lot longer, but mine keeps dying way sooner than expected. I’m constantly checking it or swapping batteries, which is exactly the kind of hassle I was trying to avoid. For what I paid, I really expected better. Definitely feeling some buyer’s remorse on this one.

"Setup was fine, just a little clunky"
I did get my Eve device working eventually, but the setup took a bit longer than I thought it would. The app was mostly easy to follow, but there were a couple of times where it just didn’t connect right away. It’s hard to describe, but it wasn’t awful or anything, just not as smooth as I was hoping for

"Works fine most of the time"
my Eve devices work fine on most days, but every now and then they lose connection and I have to reset them. It’s not a huge deal, just a little annoying when it happens

"Easy setup, but my Eve plugs keep disappearing"
Setup was quick. No complaints there. I added the Eve plugs to HomeKit, everything showed up, worked fine for a bit... then a few days later, gone. HomeKit just loses them like they were never there. I reset them, add them again, and they work. Then the same thing happens again. It’s getting annoying, honestly

"Updates actually made it easier to use"
i mean, I’ve had a couple of Eve devices for a while now, and the updates really have made them easier to deal with. The app feels smoother than it used to, and setup isn’t nearly as annoying. It’s nice when stuff keeps getting improved after you’ve already bought it.
